About Me

I'm Jeanne (pronounced with a long eee at the end.  Like "in a bottle"...  but not so much...)

I write about anything I want to, but usually with a focus on my mad parenting skills (off. the. hook.).  I'm a mom who's lucky to be able to stay home with my feisty little red head and my little Italian stallion baby boy.  I take this job very seriously as it's the only one I've ever liked!  My husband works from home, which means he's all up in my biz every day.  It's cool though because I get back at him by writing the occasional post about his foibles.  

I come from a big crazy family- I'm one of 6 kids- so that provides me with plenty of writing material as well.  I also have a great network of mom friends who I bounce ideas off of through conversations over coffee, goldfish crackers and time-outs.  And wine.

Lots of wine.

I have a Bachelors degree in Art History and I'm not afraid to use it.  Because that's what it is, you know.... Useful.... very useful.

And for the record, this Mom Hearts Pinot of the red variety, as I am allergic to most whites.  Drinking whites won't kill me, but they do cause me to break out in blotchy red marks all over.  It's a cool party trick.
